THE
FOLLOWING
INFORMATION SHOULD BE CARRIED ON YOUR PERSON AT ALL TIMES
15 September 2007
- The
best way is to have a
MedicAlert necklace or bracelet so all your important information is
available with one telephone call.
- Also,
carry the listed information on a laminated card or sheet in your
wallet or purse.
- A computer memory
stick can
contain the same data and is easily carried on a keychain.
- MedicAlert will sell
you a memory stick with all the date on it that you provide, but it's
probably less expensive to do it yourself from a file you prepare on
your computer.
- This information
may be available as a printout from your dr. or from help
groups.
- Having
this information readily available is important as with some
diseases some observations that
are
normal for you would be classed as abnormal on a person without your
disease,
and may lead to unnecessary interventions to correct something that is
"normal" for you.

This inflammation can result in damage to vital organs of the body by
restricting blood flow to those organs.
- WG normally begins as
a localized granulomatous inflammation of the nasal mucosa (lining) and
lung
tissue, and usually progresses into generalized necrotizing (gradual
degeneration) granulomatous (tumor-like) inflammation of the blood
vessels.
